Beatles places in London

Q: I used to have a list of Beatle places you could do a self-guided walk of, i.e. Abbey Road, the store, etc. Do you have a link to anything I could use for this? I can't find my list and we leave next week...aaahhh... Thanks! Peace.

Unfortunately not at the moment. However, I believe you can still buy a map and self-guided walk booklet from the shop at St Johns Wood station, and the walk starts from there anyway.

Beatles Tours

QUESTION
Are there any truly comprehensive Beatles tours which include all of the highlights of their collective careers, especially where they were in London?

ANSWER
The most comprehensive Beatles tours I am aware of are provided by this company.
I haven't actually done them so can't comment on just how comprehensive they are but this group have been doing Beatles tours for a while, from the shop near St Johns Wood station.

Dracula

Q: my girlfriend is in LONDON for the next two weeks and shes very depressed and shes doing a thesis about Dracula so... is there anything in LONDON that might have something to do with Dracula that she could do?

A: Here are a few Dracula-related things she might like to do:
- visit the Lyceum Theatre in central London. This is where Bram Stoker was actor / manager for a while (from 1878).
- visit Highgate cemetery - an amazing Victorian cemetery that feels like the set of a classic horror film - very creepy!
- get hold of and read this book of stories about Dracula in London -
(To get it, try the crime and mystery bookshop in Charing Cross Road)

Harry Potter tours

Q:
can you tell me, who provides a "harry-potter-tour" (visiting filming locations)?

A: I believe a company called London Taxi Tours does these types of tours, but they aren't free.

I know you can see the sign for platform "9 and three-quarters" for free, at Kings Cross station.
